Many people have started online businesses and tried to succeed in the internet business world. In terms of their success, three unique and very different types of people can be identified. First is the part time category. These are the people who are happy with just a little bit of extra income. Next, there are the people who are able to turn their online business into something that earns them a nice, comfortable income, a five figure income that they are satisfied with and can live on. Finally, there are the people that you hear about all the time who are extremely successful and become millionaires from their online endeavors. They are able to live the life everyone else dreams about because of the money they have earned.
What is the difference between them and what drives these three types of people? What makes one happy with a part time income, another satisfied with an average income, and another one who will not be satisfied until he or she is enormously successful?
In the first case, the part timer, it may simply be a lack of motivation. On the other hand, it could be the stage of life they are in. For example, stay at home moms who work online from home have many other responsibilities involving their children that hinder their ability to work full time. Many are happy to earn a part time income and that is all they need at the present time. At a later stage of life, this same group may have more time to devote to their online business and find themselves achieving a greater income. Sometimes the difference between the first type (part time) and the second type (average to above average income) is simply being happy where one is in life.
The difference between the second type and the third type (millionaire type) has been a great puzzle throughout the ages. Many times two people start off the same and much of their business development is the same, but one only achieves a five figure income and the other goes on to become a multi millionaire. What makes the difference? You might say luck, and although that does play a roll, something else comes into play which I like to call the satisfaction factor.
One person who builds a business and makes $50,000 a year might have no problems whatsoever with that income. This is because that person might have all their needs met and feel very comfortable and satisfied and not really interested in trying to increase their income further. They just want to enjoy what they have.
However, the person who goes on to eventually become a millionaire is not going to be satisfied with that amount. They want as much money as they can get and instead of spending it on the comfortable lifestyle enjoyed by others, they are driven to continue further in their business development ventures. Instead of spending what they earn, often times they are willing to re invest that same money to expand the business they have or to invest in another money making venture. They do whatever it takes to get to where they want to be. This kind of person is not satisfied in living the average lifestyle.
Another interesting difference is that a person who has this millionaire mentality has an income figure in their head from the start and they will drive themselves and keep on working until they are making that income figure or more. Do you have an income figure in mind of how much you want to earn? Are you willing to keep going until you achieve that figure? If so, you just might have a millionaire mindset.
