Vibrations... Without them, there would be no material universe. Science has proven that beneath all forms, degrees and obvious differences in matter and energy, there is the exhibition of elementary energy in the form of vibrations.
Everything in the universe, from the sounds we hear, the colors we see and the temperatures we feel, are the results of varying degrees of vibrations.
William Atkinson, in his ground breaking report, Practical Mental Influence, states:
Physical science itself teaches that not only is Vibration the basic force underlying other forces and the various forms of matter, but also that the apparent differences between the various forms of matter, and also between the various forms of energy, are caused simply and solely by the varying degrees of Vibration manifested
Simply put, anything and everything in the physical universe is the result of varying degrees of vibration. It s important to understand this concept and to paint a clearer picture we can focus on our senses, and that which we can physically see, hear, feel, and therefore, understand.
In school, we all learned that the tones we hear, from the lowest note to the highest are merely different because of their rate of vibration. Also in the colors we see and the temperatures we feel from the absolute coldest science can measure to the hottest temperatures imaginable, all are the results of how fast or how slow their vibrations are.
As Atkinson clearly summarizes:
All material and physical Things are simply manifestations of some infinite and eternal energy from which all things proceed, their differences resulting from the different degree of Vibration being manifested in them.
Imagine for a moment, the vibrations we humans cannot detect with our limited senses and the effects these undetectable vibrations have on our universe. From x rays, to microwaves, to waves science is yet unable to measure, we are living in a world of vibration forever shaping our daily existence.
So what of the Vibrations of thought, or more to the point, thought waves? While science can record electrical activity of our brain, they cannot, as of yet, record the subtle vibrations of thought, but undoubtedly, they do exist.
As Professor Williams, the well known scientific writer, has said: There is no gradation between the most rapid undulations or trembling that produces our sensations of sound, and the slowest of those which give rise to our sensations of gentlest warmth. There is a huge gap between them, wide enough to include another world of motion, all lying between our world of sound and our world of heat and light; and there is no good reason whatever for supposing that matter is encapable of such intermediate activity, or that such activity may not give rise to intermediate sensations, provided that there are organs for taking up and sensitizing their movements.
With this in mind it s clear to see that in the theory of Vibrations, Mental Influence can certainly find room and be rationaly explained by current scientific facts without leaving the realm of physical science and into that of the metaphysical. There is certainly scientific proof that Mental Influence does exist.
How does this theory help us achieve riches?
Quite simple really once we understand that every thought or feeling generated in our mind or brain translates into what is known as mental energy and flows out freely from our bodies in the form of thought waves, spreading from the immediate area of the thinker to a distance equal and proportionate to the overall strength of the thought or feeling.
According to Atkinson, and many other respected scientist, it s believed that these thought waves have the property of awakening similar vibrations in the minds of other persons coming within their field of force, thus qualifying as Mental Influence.
We certainly have the necessary tools to manifest whatever we desire to come into our lives. Negative thinkers and their subsequent negative lives are clear and undeniable evidence of this theory. With that in mind, it s time we learn to harness this incredible power and direct it s force towards achieving positive results in our lives.
